Windows

If you have a busy life,
Here is one thing to add.
Go, find yourself a chair
Or something to lean on
And look out of the window.
Look out the window, at everything.
Start at the bottom corner, notice the garden,
With the dead plants sticking up from the snow covered ground.
Moving up, notice the tree, taking care to look at every inch.
Move slowly,
Not thinking
Of how much you would prefer to look at the television,
After the tree, notice the house across the street.
The façade is four stones high. Remember that.
Look at how the light shines off the snow.
Look down at the rest of the houses on the street,
I won't tell you how it's done,
And when you think you've seen it all,
Suddenly there are three dimensions,
And so it begins again.
Here is one thing to add.
Go, find yourself a chair
Or something to lean on
And look out of the window.
Look out the window, at everything.
Start at the bottom corner, notice the garden,
With the dead plants sticking up from the snow covered ground.

And when you think you've seen it all,
Suddenly there are three dimensions,
And so it begins again.
