This head rush followed me around all day
Thinking about what expectations held,
And how things unfold so differently than what your mind and heart plan
Determined to make reason of it, I found the logic was out of reach
So I laid out in the pouring rain, just repeating your name
And my eyes released all the plans, and sent them upwards to be lost within the endless clouds
And I decided to let life fall, to let my heart stand out and take its place
