When the Neurons Fire

When the neurons fire
We’ll have our hearts’ desire
We’ll be laughing
We’ll be singing
We’ll be dancing ‘til they fire, yet again

When the neurons fire
Our hearts will never tire
We’ll have ecstasy, and
Levity and all things
In between

When the neurons fire
Our minds’ connected wires
Will bring happiness and
Chase away
Even the slightest sign of misery

And when the neurons fire
Our minds will be admired
For all the things
That keep us here forever
United to the end
